Easter 2010 - BEAUTIFUL

Could the weather have been any more beautiful this Easter? I loved it! It actually really felt like spring and Easter this year.
This is Adam's "I am to big to pose with a bunch of pastel Easter eggs" face.
Colton's first Easter!

He was either eating grass or an egg in this picture.
My cutie boys!
What would our family do without sweet Gracie!? She is the only little girl we have around. We were laughing so hard at her because she was all dressed up and looking ADORABLE with her bottle of orange crush in one hand and her barbie in the other!
And this picture makes me laugh so hard. I am literally sitting here laughing as I type and look at this picture. Bentley and Adam are not too fond of girls right now. They think girls have cooties and they are so mean to poor Gracie, but she is totally oblivious to it. You will notice in the picture that Adam & Bentley are not too happy about her sitting next to them for this picture, but she is REALLY excited to be with the big boys. I love that girl...she has some confidence!

Where Babies Come From & Happy Easter

Since Adam is 7 and we are just now having our second child, I knew that there would probably be alot of questions from him during the pregnancy like ...Where do babies come from?...How does the baby come out?...etc. I have preparing myself for all these questions and trying to establish if I should give him the funny lies (stork) or the harsh truth! :) Little did I know that his cousin Bentley would handle it for us. Bentley is a year younger than Adam, but much more "street smart" he is always showing Adam the ropes and teaching him something new. Well, Saturday morning at around 8:00, I was laying in bed just starting to wake up when Adam came in and blurted out "Bentley told me that when he was born he came out of his mommy's butt! Is that true mommy?" Mind you, I was not fully awake and this was my first conversations of the day. I just said "Yep, that's kind of true" To which Adam said "That must be why Bentley talks about poop all the time!" In case you need a refresher on the story behind Bentley, Adam & poop, you can click here. Well, looks like that situation is taken care of. Thanks Bentley!
HAPPY EARLY EASTER
We are going to be in Myrtle Beach for Easter this year. WHOO HOO! Adam & Mark are both on spring break next week, so we decided to take our family vacation early since I will be entirely too big and miserable to go in July. My parents invited us to celebrate early today with a lunch and a Easter egg hunt at the club.
Our family - obviously we did not color coordinate or plan ahead for the picture. Mark is spring, I am winter. Oops!
Adam's "not very Easter" outfit (skulls and crossbones on the pants)...another Oops!

All the kids are lined up and ready to go! I think Adam was the only child not wearing something smocked or pastel!
Mark is giving Adam some pointers on how to score the most eggs!
And they're off... Adam and his bucket full of eggs. He was pretty happy with his loot.
Remember Teddy Spaghetti from this post? Well, he was back and Adam got another sword.
Adam and the Easter Bunny. You can tell he is not too happy with me making him get a picture. this might be the last year for him.
Thanks Poppy & Gigi...it was fun! Aren't they some young and hot lookin grandparents! Here is a flashback to the same Easter egg hunt 6 years ago. Adam was 1! This is one of my all time favorite pictures. You can see his excitement as he found his very first Easter egg.
I am posting this picture against my better judgement. I am only doing this because everyone has been asking and I know I will probably want to look back at this one day. All I have to say is HUGE! The outfit and the pose were probably not the best choice either. I know I am not a maternity model like Jennifer or Dolly so don't even try rack your brain for some kind of nice comment about my appearance, I will know it is a lie! This will probably be the first and last picture you will see of me until the baby is about 6 months old.
By the way - 2 random things today.
1. As we were driving home from our lovely Easter celebration we passed a car wash. You know the kind where teenagers are trying to raise money by washing cars. Well we passed one and all these TEENAGE girls are wearing STRING bikinis and washing peoples cars (perverts cars probably!) WHERE ARE THESE GIRLS PARENTS AND WHAT ARE THEY THINKING??? It is the Lords day for cryin out loud!
2. Best coupon day ever. At least for me and my 2 months of coupon experience. I was amazed at the amount a good coupons today. I bought 3 papers. It took me over an hour to clip and organize them all. Hope it will be worth it.
